In 1978, Dr. C. Thomas Yost set a firm foundation for patient care in our community when he established this practice. Driven by a passion for Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, honed during his residency at Eye & Ear Hospital of Pittsburgh, Dr. Yost dedicated his career to serving generations of families.

His expertise shone through his board certifications from the American Board of Otolaryngology and his fellowships in both the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. His dedication to surgical excellence transcended the practice, extending to qualified Aviation Medical Examiner services for pilots.

But Dr. Yost's life wasn't confined to the walls of the practice. Music pulsated within him, leading him to found the Tuesday Night Big Band, a 22-piece orchestra where his baritone saxophone serenaded all who listened. He soared even higher as a pilot, navigating the skies with the same precision he brought to medicine.

While circumstances altered Dr. Yost's path, his spirit remains woven into the fabric of our practice. His wisdom and stories inspire us daily, a testament to his enduring legacy. Though we miss his active presence, we are forever grateful for his vision, dedication, and the harmonious symphony of service he leaves behind. We stay in touch regularly, his influence thriving not only in the care we provide, but in the lives he touched, a constant reminder of the profound impact he had on our community.
