Environmental Allergy
Environmental allergies are an immune response to something in your surroundings that’s typically otherwise harmless. An inhalant allergy can be triggered by any airborne irritants received from dust mites, molds, trees, grasses, pollens, pets such as dogs and cats, etc.
Symptoms include:
Sinusitis
Red, watery, irritated eyes
Constant sneezing
Runny nose/congestion
Difficulty breathing through the nose
ENT Associates offers evaluation, testing and treatment of environmental allergy.
Our nurses are specifically trained in the testing and treatment of environmental allergy in accordance with the guidelines of The American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy (AAOA).
They have specialized training in intradermal testing (serial dilution titration technique), preparation of allergenic extract according to each patient's unique test results, and immunotherapy (allergy shots). They work hand in hand with the Doctors to manage the overall needs of the patient.
We offer walk-in hours for the convenience of our patients for administration of their injections. We are also able to mail your serum to your home or primary care physician to have your injections administered by a trained professional outside of our office.
